I'm not sure how coherant I'll be but I'll try. hubby has 3 options
1. They can zap the vein that (they think) is bleeding. This will cut his blood supply to his intestines by 1/4. (because of how few he has there, and where they are). This can cause his intestines to die through lack of blood, and they will need to do surgery, remove what little intestine he has left, and give him a stoma.
2. They can just skip the zapping, and go right to the surgery, snipping and trimming where his intestines meet. The problem with this is his extensive scar tissue on his stomach makes it almost impossible, because it wont heal again.
3. The can put a ballon up his aorta, stop the flow of blood to his lower body, then release it to see if they can spot the bleeder easier, then going back to option 1.
4. I guess there is another one. Like last time, just see if he stops bleeding and send him home.

There was a lot more to it than that, of course, but that's the basics. Pretty much were we were last time. 8 pints of blood so far. He's still bleeding, but it's not as heavy.

I'm going to take a nap, now, I think. Or watch a movie.
