I thought I was buying cottage cheese, but it seems I bought 'quark'. I've never even heard of quark! What the fuck is quark? (yes yes, its a 'soft cheese', but what do you use it for?) I feel like it should be in some star trek eppisode!
It tastes rather like natural greek yogurt, only not as good. I was thinking it might be a good yogurt replacement.
Ok, I googled it. No wonder I've never heard of it, as its a very regional cheese that I've never come across.
Anyone got any good recipe ideas for this?
